Tayvien Alpough, defeated Jared Mercado (5-2, 5 KOs) by unanimous decision Saturday May 23, 2026 at the Jacob Brown Auditorium in Brownsville, Texas. Scores were 78-74, 78-74 and 77-75 for Alpough, who improves to 5-0, 4 KOs and won the WBA NABA Silver Flyweight Title 108-lb. title. Tayvien, resides in Port Arthur, Texas, not far from Houston. He is currently Managed by Gwen Legge of Eruption Boxing Management. The 23-year-old Alpough, who has mostly fought at 112 pounds gets the Title.
